About Me

    I am the mom of two wonderful, active boys that are 15 months apart, they keep my husband and I very busy. Though I love staying home with them, becoming a Doula has allowed me the best of both worlds. To stay at home and raise my family but also to reach out and support expecting women. Since I became pregnant in 2005 I have had an intense interest in pregnancy and birth and am dedicated to helping women during their pregnancy journey. My curiosity has nurtured not only empathy for what a women goes through during the intense changes during pregnancy, but also a deep understanding about how intimidating and emotional pregnancy and birth can be. I was raised to believe in natural alternatives and I am constantly amazed at the body's abilities during the birth process. I support the labouring woman in the decisions that she makes for her ideal birth experience and work with her and her partner to make the birth experience both positive and rewarding.
